Capital Electric Retractable Softwall Partition

One of the largest electrical contractors in the area needed a flexible way to divide a large workspace without committing to permanent walls. Their facility required open access most of the time, but also needed a safe, contained welding area when fabrication work was underway.

Warestar, Inc. designed a custom retractable Soper’s SoftWall partition measuring 70 feet long and 16 feet high. To maximize ease of use, the partition was split at the center, allowing it to be pulled closed from either side and meet seamlessly in the middle. When not in use, the curtain retracts smoothly out of the way, restoring the open floor plan.

The partition was fabricated in red vinyl to match the contractor’s company colors, creating a solution that was both functional and visually cohesive with their brand. A ceiling-mounted trolley system with an integrated pull rope allows the curtain to glide effortlessly, making deployment quick and practical for daily use.

This installation provided the customer with a durable and flexible solution that enhances safety during welding operations while preserving the versatility of their workspace.
